Equipment
Your character begins with basic equipment appropriate for the genre, one set of appropriate clothing, and enough extra cash to pay for something that's moderately expensive like a nice backpack or a hunting knife. (Cypher uses abstract price categories instead of specific amounts of dollars, gold pieces, and so on.)

- appropriate clothing
- one expensive item
- five moderately priced items
- six inexpensive items
- enough local currency to buy a moderately priced item
- maybe a weapon
